Certified Flight Instructor - Rotorcraft-Helicopter
The Certified Flight Instructor license is a good
way for those who wish to build up their PIC time
FAA Minimum Requirements
- Must possess a valid Commercial license
with Rotorcraft-Helicopter ratings.
- Must pass required Knowledge tests (written).
- Must pass an oral and Practical test.
- Approx. 10 hrs. of dual flight instruction.
- Approx. 15 hrs. of ground instruction.
- Must meet SFAR 73 requirements prior
to providing instruction in a Robinson R22/R44.
